Ostéopathe migraine, céphalée à Paris 12

Qu’est-ce que la migraine?


Les migraines se caractérisent par des crises qui durent généralement entre 4 et 72 heures.


La douleur migraineuse s'accompagne d'au moins deux des signes suivants:


- Marquée d’un côté de la tête, d’où le terme de mi-graine.

- Une sensation pulsatile.

- Aggravée à l’effort.

- Invalidante.


La migraine s'accompagne d'au moins deux des signes suivants:


- Photophobie (intolérance à la lumière).

- Phonophobie(intolérance au bruit).

- Nausées.

- Vomissements.

On parle d’auras (20% des cas) pour les troubles sensoriels qui précèdent parfois la migraine.


Les plus fréquentes sont les auras ophtalmiques:


- Phosphènes: le champ visuel se remplit de phénomènes de type points scintillants).

- Myodésopsies: mouches semblant traverser le champ visuel.

- Scotomes scintillants: lignes brisées lumineuses.

- Signes pathognomoniques: peuvent former des compositions complexes.


Quelle origine à ces douleurs ? 


Explication physiologique:

La migraine serait le résultat d'une défaillance du système nerveux orthosympathique qui a un effet modérateur sur les fibres C nociceptives (les nerfs qui génèrent la douleur présents sur les vaisseaux sanguins) tandis que le système parasympathique, lui, est stimulateur de ces fibres C.

Dans ces conditions, si le système modérateur est défaillant et laisse donc place au système stimulateur, alors cela entraînera une inflammation des fibres nerveuses à l'origine de la douleur migraineuse.


Les causes de la migraine:


le cycle hormonal (ovulation et menstruations),

Perturbation du rythme circadien (excès ou manque de sommeil)

l’état psychologique (stress et contrariétés),

l’état physique (fatigue ou accident),

les variations climatiques et changements alimentaires.

Qu'est-ce que la céphalée de tension?

C'est un type particulier de mal de tête, souvent chronique, non pulsatile (contrairement aux migraines), plus diffuse et en casque.


Différentes origines:


- Due à des problèmes musculaires et squelettiques dans la région cervicale (mauvaise position au travail, traumatisme cranien, coup du lapin).

- Stress, contrariété, surmenage, fatigue.

- Déséquilibre des structures osseuses de l’orbite ou au niveau bucco-dentaire(mandibule, mâchoire, malocclusion, bruxisme)

- Une diminution de mobilité à la base du crâne peut générer des névralgies d'Arnold.


Traitement ostéopathique:


Après avoir exclu à travers une anamnèse et un examen clinique approfondis les causes organiques pouvant engendrer des maux de tête, l’ostéopathe aura pour objectif de travailler manuellement et en douceur sur l'interface anatomique (articulations, muscles, ligaments, fascias) ce qui permettra de libérer les tensions susceptibles de perturber notamment les nerfs et vaisseaux pouvant générer des maux de tête et également de dégager les nombreuses contraintes imposées aux cervicales afin de diminuer la symptomatologie.
